AMS provides individual and dependent coverage options for United Health Care medical & vision insurance and Blue Cross/Blue Shield Preferred dental insurance. Individual coverage options are paid in full by AMS.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
Employees are provided with long-term disability insurance, which will pay a portion of the employee’s current salary in the event of a long-term disability.
Life insurance coverage is offered at one times your basic salary, subject to a maximum of $100,000.00.

Paid Vacation/Personal & Sick Leave
Each employee earns up to 20 days of paid time off per year, which includes vacation, personal time, and sick time. Employees can bank up to 90 of their unused days as sick leave.

NPIC-HMIT Appreciation Dinner
Up to 12 weeks of accrued sick leave can be used for the care of a sick dependent or maternity leave.
AMS recognizes at least 10 paid holidays per year. These holidays are:
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Holidays (5 days)

All salaries are reviewed once a year. Raises and/or bonuses are given based on the employee’s performance in the previous year and the company’s expectations in the coming year.
401K Retirement/Pension Plan
Each employee is eligible to participate by contributing to the 401K Retirement Plan. AMS will match 75% of your contribution up to a maximum of $3,000.00 per year.
Salaried employees who travel on paid plant trips for the company on weekends or holidays are given compensatory time of 1 day for every day of weekend or holiday worked. Compensatory time may be accumulated up to 30 days.
